PAGE 22. 1951 VAP 4 on a Wonder Cycle
The VAP 4 was a more powerful engine than its predecessor, the VAP 3. Unlike many cycle-attachments, it will actually propel you uphill!
This VAP 4 was restored by my friend Patrick in France, and is fitted to a French WONDER bicycle from the 1940’s.
Wonder bicycles were made in St. Etienne, an area that was a major manufacturing centre in France for vehicles and armaments throughout the 20th century. The advert below dates from 1910.
